How to Unblundle the $1M Product Stuck in your head
How to productize yourself - 3 Profitable Simple businesses - A list of 40k SaaS companies with their revenues and stories
Dear Readers,
The story of the world follows a simple pattern: bundling power and unbundling power.
Charlemagne The Great bundled Europe under one rule—uniting kingdoms, faith, and armies. Centuries later, it was unbundled into nations.
Nope, this isn’t a history newsletter. Businesses follow the same pattern.
Steve Jobs bundled products together to create what we now call Apple. Every successful business does the same: bundle value, unbundle inefficiencies, and then re-bundle at a higher price.
It’s what I like to call a fractal. It works on every level, from global empires to tiny one-man businesses.
Right now, there’s something in your head—a product, a skill, or an idea—that’s scattered. Unbundled. Fragmented.
It’s time to bundle it, productize it, and scale it.
How? By stacking three unfair advantages:
Data – Freely available, floating across the internet. Use it.
Code – No-code tools, automation, and digital products. Build once, sell forever.
Media – The ultimate force multiplier. Scale your ideas to infinity.
In today’s issue of Permissionless, I’ll show you exactly how to put this system to work:

Unbundle the $1M Product Stuck in your Head
There is something you do that feels like play to you but would be hard work to others - Naval Ravikant.
That’s your $1M product. My favorite example is Salarytransparent.com :
Hannah is a 28-year-old woman who realized she was underpaid for her role because there’s no transparency in salaries. She then started a series of street interviews to ask people exactly how much they made. She then turned the series into a nice searchable database. She made $1,6 million last year doing this
— CJ Eats makes millions selling recipes online:
The site gets about 716,693 monthly visits and makes around $7k with ads.
CJ Eats has:
-$1M followers on Insta
-1M followers on TikTok,
-24k Subscribers on YouTube
The website alone makes $7k/month with ads. But most of his revenue comes from selling the recipes and the brand deals.
— Here is another one: Gamerant Started in 2009 by Vic Holtreman, who also founded Screenrant, a movie news/ review site.
GameRant is a content site written by gamers for gamers with an emphasis on news, reviews, unique features, and interviews.
The company is making ~ $37M/year today. Monthly Visits ~ 78M
Victor grew both sites from zero to millions of visits per month.
He exited the site in February of 2015 it had grown to 12 million unique visitors per month and was the most visited privately owned movie news site in America.
I hope you see the fractals at play here.
These websites are bundling products around their passion THEN finding a clever way to bring traffic to it. Could be SEO or growing on social media.
Hannah got Obsessed with Salaries.
CJ loves cooking.
Vic loved movies and games.
